Follow event Triathlon Road/Path/Park Aquathon Kids Relay

The Challenge Canberra Triathlon on 22 November 2026 includes the Challenge Canberra 100 race, plus Olympic and Sprint distances.

The flagship 100-distance triathlon features a 2km swim, 80km bike, and 18km run. This event is also a World Qualifying Race for the 2027 Multisport World Championships in Edmonton, Canada.

The swim leg begins with a 1400m loop, followed by 600m loop to give you a 2km swim in the protected waters off Black Mountain Peninsula. The bike leg is a fast 4-lap course on a blend of flat, fast straights and gentle undulations. The flat 3-lap run course showcases the very best of Canberra’s lakeside pathways.

There are also Aquabike options and a Swim + Run Aquathlon for the Kids.

Distances/Events

Triathlons (Swim + Bike + Run):
Sprint: 750m + 20K + 5K - drafting/non drafting
Standard/Olympic: 1.5K + 40K + 10K - solo/relay
Challenge 100: 2K + 80K + 18K - solo/relay

100m Swim + 1K Run
