Coastal Quest from 1 to 3 May 2026 is a 3-stage, team Adventure Race set against the spectacular backdrop of Anglesea, Surf Coast, Victoria.

Stage adventure racing involves teams competing over multiple days, each featuring a separate stage blending the disciplines of running, biking, paddling and navigation. Teams of 2 complete a leg of the race each day. Each stage is an adventure of its own, but after a full day of racing, you can look forward to a comfortable night’s rest before taking on the next stage the following day.

Competitors will paddle the turquoise waters of the Anglesea River and Bass Strait, run along clifftop trails with breathtaking ocean views, and ride through the twisting single tracks of the Great Otway National Park.

There are 3 racing options - the Epic (all three days), Classic Sprint (Saturday) or Novice Sprint (Sunday short course).

Friday Prologue: 1-3 hours / ~ 15K (paddle & trek rogaine)
Saturday Classic: 6-10 hours / 50-75K (5-8K paddle, 15-20K trek, 30-45K MTB)
Sunday Novice: 2-4 hours / 18-27K (3-5K paddle, 5-8K trek, 10-14K MTB)
