The Compass Club Northern Edition in Bamaga, Queensland
The Compass Club provides a once in a lifetime experience - a chance to complete a full marathon on each of Australia's northern, southern, eastern, western and central compass points.
The Northern Edition is at Bamaga, Australia's northernmost settlement, and is the start line for the first ever marathon in the Northern Peninsula Regional Council Area.
Developed to provide marathon runners with a new challenge, The Compass Club will be a unique event series that you can add to your Bucket List. Never before have Byron Bay, the South Coast Track, Steep Point and Cape York played host to an official marathon event, and The Compass Club event series aims to provide competitors with lifelong stories at how they were a part of history being made.

This event starts and finishes on the junction of Pajinka Back Road and Pajinka Road. The turnaround point is at the Northern Most Point of Australia.
