Bamaga to Pajinka, Cape York, QLD

Run/Walk Road/Path/Park

Bamaga, Australia’s northern most settlement, is the start line on Sunday, 5 May 2019 for the Northern Editition of The Compass Club.

The Compass Club is a series which gives you the chance to complete a full marathon on each of Australia's northern, southern, eastern, western and central compass points.

Commencing at dawn on the outskirts of the quiet little town, a traditional Welcome to Country ceremony will herald the start of the race. Competitors will follow the current 4WD track all the way to the rocky outcrop, and race back to Bamaga before the North Queensland humidity really kicks in.
