The Copperlode Cup on 16 August 2026 is an annual road race organised by the Cairns Road Runners.

This iconic event has been staged more than 30 times. Runners start at the bottom of Lake Morris Road and wind their way uphill through shady tropical rainforest for 15 kilometres. This is a one-way event finishing at Copperlode Dam.

2026 includes a relay event with the changeover at the water spot Waddlebla (7km).
