The Copperlode Cup on 27 July 2025 is an annual road race organised by the Cairns Road Runners.

This iconic event has been staged more than 30 times. Runners start at the bottom of Lake Morris Road and wind their way uphill through shady tropical rainforest for 15 kilometres.

The finish line is at the picnic area overlooking scenic Lake Morris which is held back by the Copperlode Dam in the mountains behind Cairns.

2025 includes a relay event with the changeover at the water spot Waddlebla (7km).
