Dead Cow Gully Backyard Ultra on 30 May 2026 is a last one standing event in Runnymede, Queensland.

This is not just a race, it’s a measure of human endurance. Where is YOUR limit? Is it 5 or 15 loops? Is it 24 or 100 loops? The only sure thing about Dead Cow Gully, is the clock doesn’t stop until the last one is standing.

The 6.7km course will take you through stockyards, grasslands, gullies and gumtrees.

"Dead Cow Gully" is named for the unfortunate beast that lost its footing close to the creek’s edge and was discovered a week later tangled in some protruding tree roots – 2 metres above the creek bed.
