The Garden City Backyard Ultra is a last one standing event starting on 4 October 2025 in Toowoomba, Australia’s Garden City.

A Backyard Ultra is a form of ultramarathon race where competitors must consecutively run a 6.71km course in less than one hour, every hour. When each lap is completed, the remaining time within the hour is used to recover and replenish for the next hour's race. The race finishes when one person completes one more lap than anyone else.

The event is based at the Toowoomba Showgrounds and the lap course includes the Main Arena, the Peter Watts Criterium Track, and the Wilderness Challenge, with the timing to coincide with one of the biggest tourist events on the Toowoomba calendar, the Carnival of Flowers.
