Mountain Designs GeoQuest 48 hour Adventure Race from 5 to 8 June 2026 is the ultimate test of your physical and mental limits.

The event is held in a new NSW location each year. The 2026 event location is Forster on the Barrington Coast.

This team-based event includes the disciplines of trekking, mountain biking, and kayaking on two course options, the Full Course and the Geo-Half. The 2025 event will be on the Mid-north coast of NSW, 3-4 hrs drive from Sydney.

Teams of 2 or 4 enter in one of three categories, Premier (i.e. Mixed), All-Female, or All-Male. You must finish the race with the number of team members you start with. Teams have the option of racing 'supported' and bringing one additional person as support crew (this person is not racing) or racing or 'un-supported' and have the GeoQuest team handle logistics.
