Gil's Galavant Backyard Ultra on 11 April 2026 is a last one standing endurance event in Queensland's outback.

Based on a working cattle property of approximately 3000 acres, entrants run a 6.71km loop of the property every hour on the hour, until there's only one person left. Refer to the event website for all rules associated with the event.

The course terrain is grass, sandy loam soil, seasonal creek beds and gravel. Total elevation over each loop is around 30m.
