The Ikara Ultra from 1 to 3 May 2026 is set in the Ikara-Flinders Ranges, along the iconic Heysen Trail in South Australia.

The 2026 race distances include 100 miles, 100km, 50 miles and 50km.

The courses are held on a wonderful trail network that will take runners through old stations, along creeks, stopping at shearing sheds, homesteads, mountain tops, ruins and starting in an epically fitting locations; Mt Little Station for 100 Milers, Wilpena Pound for 100km, Heysen Trail Head for 50 miles and Trezona campground for the 50km.
