The Ireland Funds Australia Global 5K run/walk in Melbourne on 21 September 2024 is based at Princes Park.

The event joins the Parkville parkrun at Princes Park, Royal Parade, Carlton North.

The event is part of a unique Global 5K fundraising run held in cities around the world. The 2024 Australian Global 5K supports the work of Irish Support Agency NSW, Irish Australian Support & Resource Bureau VIC and Irish Australian Support Association QLD in Australia and Belvedere Youth Club in Ireland.
