Kokoda Challenge: Lake Macquarie

Cooranbong, NSW

Follow event Follow series Run/Walk Off Road/Trail Team

The Kokoda Challenge returns to Lake Macquarie for another unforgettable adventure.

The next event date is to be confirmed.

Setting off in the hills of the quaint town of Cooranbong, your team of 3-4 people can choose to traverse a 18, 30 or 48km course through the stunning Olney State Forest and Watagans National Park.

Added together, the course distances equal a total of 96km, which is the distance of the real Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea.

The goal is to finish as a complete team in honour of the spirit forged on the Kokoda Track in 1942: courage, endurance, mateship and sacrifice.

Other Kokoda Challenge events are held in Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast.
