The Lake Argyle Adventure Race in East Kimberley, Western Australia from Friday, 6 September to Sunday, 8 September 2019 has solo, team and junior adventure races.
The solo adventure challenge on Friday starts with a swim in the fresh water of Lake Argyle. You will then cross the Dam wall and paddle down the Ord. You will then transition to the run 13km down the Ord river and tackle a 6km remote wilderness run. Finally onto your mountain bike and finish at Lake Argyle Resort.
The team adventure race on Saturday can be entered as a relay team of 2, 3 or 4 members. The order of adventure will be: Swim, Run, Mountain Bike, Paddle - all conveniently transitioning from the Lake Argyle Resort.
Friday - Solo:
2km swim + 13km paddle + 6km adventure traverse + 21km MTB
Saturday - Relay:
2km swim + 9km run + 17km MTB + 7km paddle
Saturday - Duathlon:
3.5km run + 8km MTB
Saturday - Juniors:
6-8 years: 40m pool swim, 700m run, 1500m cycle
9-13 years: 250m lake swim, 1km run, 2.4km cycle
Sunday - MTB:
10km MTB time trial
