The Light Horse Ultra returns from 22 to 23 May 2027 with a 1, 3, 6, 12 and 24 Hour race in Woodvale, Western Australia.

The course is a 2.6km loop with a combination of asphalt, limestone trail and boardwalk. To keep things interesting, runners change direction every 3 hours.

There is also a 24-Hour relay event for teams of 2, 3, or 4. Team runners share a single timing chip, swap out each lap, or run in blocks, passing the baton each time they transition in the exchange zone. Only one runner can be on course at a time, until the final hour when all teammates are welcome to join on course together.

The 1 Hour race is exclusively for the kids (6 - 18 years) and is held on a 550m loop.
