The Logan Running Festival at Berrinba Wetlands in Logan, Queensland on Sunday, 22 September 2019 has a full 42km marathon, 21km half marathon and 14km & 7km fun runs, and a 1km kids fun run.
The race is run on the existing Berrinba Park Run course and surrounds, which winds its way around the Berrinba Wetlands. The route is 7 kilometres on winding cement and wooden bridge tracks, showcasing the natural beauty of the Wetlands. Marathon runners complete 6 laps; half marathoners 3 laps; 14km 2 laps; and 7km 1 lap.
Berrinba Wetlands is a man-made recreational park covering 120 ha along Scrubby Creek. Scrubby Creek joins Slacks Creek which enters the Logan River. The park contains 8.5 km of walkways and bike tracks, nesting boxes and substantial bridges.
