The Melrose Running Festival from 23 to 24 July 2027 is based in the Mt Remarkable National Park in the Southern Flinders Ranges.

Choose from 50km, 30km, and 15km trail runs.

The 50km Ultra Marathon takes in incredible views, including Hidden Gorge before finishing with an 8km descent from the summit of Mt. Remarkable into the township of Melrose. Qualifying criteria does apply to the 50km distance as it is a challenging course for experienced trail runners.

The traditional "King of the Mount" is a 15km run up to the Mt. Remarkable summit and back down again.

This event is organised by the Adelaide Trail Runners.
