The Mackay Road Runners King & Queen of the Mountain run on 26 July 2026 is a test of strength and endurance.
The course ascends the 6.4km Eungella Range in Eungella National Park.
This annual event attracts entrants of all ages as the pit themselves against the mountain.

The start is on Mackay Eungella Rd in Netherdale with the finish at the top of the mountain. Presentations etc. are in the community hall opposite the sporting grounds.
