The Mt Misery Trail Run, east of Adelaide, South Australia on Sunday, 13 May 2018, has 8km, 15km and 24km distances.
This race passes through really majestic landscape, consisting of rugged hills and valleys, all thickly wooded. For several kilometres you run along ridge tops from which you get sweeping views of the Mt Lofty Ranges in one direction, and the Adelaide plains in another
Most of the two longer courses, and all of the short one, are on fire access tracks which are hilly but easy going underfoot, allowing you to enjoy the scenery and chat to other runners. But the two longer courses include a steep and challenging deviation over the summit of Mt Misery (528m). So you can enjoy this event either as a serious race or as a casual fun run.
