The Kathmandu Neverest Challenge is on again at the Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne from Saturday, 6 April to Sunday, 7 April 2019.

This vertical test of endurance requires a solo participant or a team to ascend and descend the same track until they complete the equivalent of the height of Everest (9000 m) above sea level. The event is a charity event to raise funds for the Australian Himalayan Foundation.

Complete 35 laps solo or as part of a team to cover the 103km distance with 9000 metres of vertical gain. Individuals start on Friday at 6pm, teams can start anytime from 7am Saturday morning. Note that the team option is not a relay: team members walk/run the track concurrently.
