Kathmandu Neverest Challenge: Canberra

The Kathmandu Neverest Challenge is on again at Mt Ainslie in Canberra from Friday, 22 March to Saturday, 23 March 2019.

This vertical test of endurance requires a solo participant or a team to ascend and descend the same track until they complete the equivalent to the height of Everest (9,000m) above sea level. It is a charity event to raise funds for the work of the Australian Himalayan Foundation.

Complete 53 laps solo or as part of a team to cover the 106km distance with 9000 metres of vertical gain. Individuals start on Friday at 6pm, teams can start anytime from 7am Saturday morning. Note that the team option is not a relay: team members walk/run the track concurrently.
