The Preferred Plaster "Race the Roo" on 27 July 2025 is a community running event with a difference!

This race is for runners of all abilities, from park-runners to elite athletes. The goal is to finish as many laps as you can, ahead of the Roo. Each lap is just over 1km and everyone starts each lap together with the Roo, with a short rest between each lap.

Each lap gets progressively faster, eventually challenging even the fastest and best endurance runners. All you have to do is finish ahead of the Roo on each lap to stay in the event.
