Run the Great Whitsunday Trail

Sunday, 19 August 2018

Brandy Creek / Airlie Beach, QLD

Run/Walk Off Road/Trail Medium Superlong Ultra

Run the Great Whitsunday Trail takes you on a 28.7km or 57.4km journey through Conway State Forest in Queensland on Sunday, 19 August 2018.

The 57.4km distance is the shorter distance out and back and was introduced in 2016 to celebrate the event's 10th anniversary; the ultramarathon was cancelled in 2017 due to cyclone damage, but returns in 2018.

Included in the 2018 event is the inaugural 9km Honeyeater Challenge taking in the spectacular view from the lookout at the turnaround point. This trail includes the first part of the Ultra distance so is also challenging, starting and finishing at the beach.
