Run McLaren Vale (previously the McLaren Vale Marathon) on 31 May 2026 is a beautiful run through the vines with the stunning backdrop of the Southern Mount Lofty Ranges.

The event planned for 31 May 2026 has been cancelled.

The event is based right in the heart of town with a Half Marathon, 10km and 5km course taking runners amongst the vines with the backdrop of the Mount Lofty Ranges and views to the Fleurieu Coast.

All 3 distances are run 100% on sealed roads and have been officially certified by AIMS and World Athletics.

There is also an approximately 1km kids dash.

As well as the running events, enjoy fun for all the family with markets, cellar door, food trucks and kids’ activities.
