Formally Run Western Sydney, the Western Sydney Lakes Marathon on 21 November 2026 is based from the Sydney International Regatta Centre.

Now with Western Sydney's only Marathon, a Half Marathon, 10km, 5km, and family 2km events on offer, there is a distance for all abilities and ages.

The Marathon and Half Marathon are on traffic-free, flat routes starting from the Sydney International Regatta Centre. Runners will enjoy a fast mix of sealed roads, scenic trails and compact gravel paths, showcasing some of Western Sydney’s most untouched tracks and natural beauty. The Marathon is a 2-lap route.

The 10km (2-lap) and 5km (1-lap) courses are on a flat circuit around the Competition Lake. The 2km fun run is out-and-back route around part of the Competition Lake.

The 2026 event is part of the Redline Games.
