The Salt Lakes City Trail Race on 16 May 2027 is organised by the Secret Rocky Runners and takes in the natural beauty of Lake Walyungup.

The run is along some of the trails around the salt lake. It offers open, relatively flat and rugged terrain on a mix of limestone trails, dunes, sand, and vast dry salt flats with sparse woodlands.

Distance options include 6km, 12km and 24km as well as a 2km 'Salt Shaker Scramble' for the kids.
