Previously known as the Sandy Point Half Marathon, the Brighton Beach Marathon is held along the streets of Melbourne’s iconic bayside on 31 August 2025.

Starting at Green Point, Brighton, the two-lap Marathon course will take you along a scenic fast and flat bayside course, through Brighton, Hampton and Sandringham. As well as the 42km distance, there is also a one-lap Half Marathon, 10km and 5km option.

The Marathon and Half Marathon have Wheelchair waves. All course distances are AIMS-certified.
