The SCADaddle for Research is a 5km run and walk in Hobart on 26 October 2025 to raise awareness and much needed research funds to solve the mystery of SCAD.

Join in for a great morning in Hobart's beautiful Cornelian Bay. Walk, skip or run 5km with family and friends.

SCAD (Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection) is an uncommon emergency heart condition that occurs when a tear forms in one of the blood vessels in the heart, causing a heart attack or sudden death. SCAD heart attacks typically occur in people with no standard risk factors for heart attack, the average age of patients is just 42 and 80% of sufferers are women.
