The Straddie Salute Triathlon Festival in Queensland from 16 to 17 May 2026 caters for all ages and abilities with triathlons, kids' events and stand alone trail runs.
Take on one of Australia's most spectacular triathlon courses as you swim, bike and run around beautiful Minjerribah, North Stradbroke Island. The swim leg is an ocean swim starting at the Eastern end of Home Beach and finishing at the entry to the Point Lookout Domain. The Straddie Salute includes a cycle leg that consists of mainly 4WD trail with a short sealed road section. The cycle leg in the Pure Triathlon is on sealed roads. The run leg for both events feature a mix of coastal trails, beach, stairs, boardwalk and bitumen.
The 5km and 10km Trail Runs take runners and walkers along coastal tracks, scenic walkways and beautiful beaches.
The 500m and 1000m Ocean Swims are on Sunday.

Aquathlon: 50m Swim + 500m Run
