Race 1 in the Sunny Coast XC Series on 6 April 2025 is based at is based at the University of the Sunshine Coast Athletics Track in Sippy Downs.

This family-focused cross country series includes a distance for everyone; 1km, 2km, 3km, 4km, 6km, 10km, plus a 500m fun run for 3-7 year olds.

The series is organised by the University of the Sunshine Coast Athletics Club (USCAC), a local club run by volunteers. All competitors (except 3-7 year olds) must be Queensland Athletics club members or Qrun or ANQ. Entry is discounted for USCAC members.
