Swimrun Australia: Melbourne
Saturday, 14 March 2026
Melbourne, VIC
Swimrun Australia is coming to Melbourne on 14 March 2026 on a course that follows the Bay Trail from Beaumaris to Brighton.
This fast-growing adventure format blends multiple trail runs and open water swims into one continuous course; no transitions, no gear changes. Entrants run in their swim gear and swim in their shoes, carrying everything from start to finish. Around 80% of the course is running, with swims offering a cool-down and reset.
Entrants will journey along the Bay Trail, dive into the calm waters of Port Phillip Bay and run through a mix of soft sand, off-road trails, and seaside paths.
With 2 distances on offer, there is a challenge for every competitor. Compete as a solo entrant of in teams of two (enduro course only). Teams must complete the entire course together and help each other through diverse terrain to beat the course and reach the finish line.
