Swimrun Australia: Sydney East
Saturday, 18 April 2026
Rose Bay, NSW
Swimrun Australia's Sydney East event is back on 18 April 2026 on a scenic harbour course with the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and South Head as the backdrop.
This fast-growing adventure format blends multiple trail runs and open water swims into one continuous course; no transitions, no gear changes. Entrants run in their swim gear and swim in their shoes, carrying everything from start to finish. Around 80% of the course is running, with swims offering a cool-down and reset.
The Sydney East course winds through some of Sydney’s most iconic and scenic landscapes. You’ll move across harbour beaches, national park trails, rock platforms, and open water crossings, all with jaw-dropping views of the Harbour Bridge, Opera House, and through to South Head.
With multiple distances on offer, there is a challenge for every competitor. Compete as a solo entrant of in teams of two (experience and enduro courses). Teams must complete the entire course together and help each other through diverse terrain to beat the course and reach the finish line.
