Total Recon Adventure Race from 1 to 2 November 2025 is a team challenge where entrants navigate, trek/run, mountain bike and kayak their way around one of South Australia’s adventure playgrounds.

Teams of 4 or 2 people work together and navigate using a map and compass around a 40km sprint, 106km Stage or 200km+ 24-36 Hour Championship course, collecting checkpoints along the way and get to the finish before the cutoff.

The winner is the first team over the line that completes the course. Full course teams can expect 6-7 legs with an estimated winner's time of 24hrs and the course is open for 36 hours. There is also a 6 Hour Sprint and a Two day Stage Race (new) course options available.

This event is also the ARWS Oceania Regions Championship Event for 2025.
