The Total Recon Adventure Race Sprint Series race on 31 January 2026 is a team challenge where entrants Navigate, Run, Mountain Bike and Kayak their way around the Happy Valley Reservoir.

Teams of 2 work together and navigate using a map and compass around an approx. 24km sprint style adventure race, collecting checkpoints along the way and get to the finish before the cutoff.

Teams can expect to trek/run 6-7kms, mountain bike 12-14kms and kayak 4-5kms. The order in which you do it will not be known until the start of the race.

An estimated winners time of 2hrs and the course is open for 4 hours.
