The Wingello Whimsical Wayfarer on 11 July 2026 is a canicross event held in the Wingello State Forest, around 100km south of Campbelltown.

Canicross is a sport where you run with your dog (as a team) while attached to them with a specialised harness, bungee cord and running belt.

The long course will be 2 laps of the 4.2km (2 dog track), making it an 8.4km race.

The short course is an approximately 3km course that starts/finishes close to the horse float camping area. It's run on one of the dryland mushing trails (1 dog track), so it will be a wide forest dirt road. It's fairly flat with some minor rises. There maybe puddles and some washed out sections.

This event is organised by The Canicross Club. Refer to event website for associated rules.
