The Wings for Life World Run comes to Ranwick, NSW on 10 May 2026 with an app-based catcher car virtual run.

Instead of a finish line, competitors race side by side to keep ahead of the Virtual Catcher Car. Meet up with your friends, download the Wings for Life World Run App and join all the other people running until the Virtual Catcher Car catches you. The race starts at exactly 11:00:00 PM with the Virtual Catcher Car starting 30 minutes after the start at 14 km/h and steadily increasing speed until the last athletes have been caught.

The 2026 location is Randwick Racecourse. The course will begin outside the Winx stand and weave around to the track side before looping around the Old Members stand back to the start. 1 loop is approx. 1.1km in length and will cover mixed terrain of concrete and turf. Wheelchair uses will have a routre that is 100% concrete along the track side of the course.

100% of all donations and the entry fees go directly into spinal cord research projects.
