The World Marathon Challenge® is a logistical and physical challenge to run seven marathons on seven continents in seven days, with the Australian leg in Perth on 2 February 2025.

The course starts adjacent to Burswood Water Sports Centre and is a multi-loop course on the pedestrian path along Swan River.

The Challenge covers 7 marathons, on 7 continents, in 7 days, starting in Antarctica, then going to South Africa, Australia, Dubai, Spain, Brazil and finishing in the USA.

The World Marathon Challenge is operated on a biennial basis.
