The Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team in Canberra organise a variety of on and off road running and walking events; triathlons; and swimming events throughout the year in Canberra.

Sri Chinmoy founded the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team in 1977 as a service to the running community and to promote self-transcendence through sports. Over the years, the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team has become the largest sponsor of ultra-distance running in the world.
