The 5K SCADaddle for Research is a fundraising walk or run in locations across Australia to raise awareness and much needed research funds to solve the mystery of SCAD.

What is SCAD? Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection is an uncommon emergency heart condition that occurs when a tear forms in one of the blood vessels in the heart, causing a heart attack or sudden death. SCAD heart attacks typically occur in people with no standard risk factors for heart attack, the average age of patients is just 42 and 80% of sufferers are women.
