Short, fast and fun, and suitable for anyone and everyone with a real sense of adventure, the Maximum Adventure Race in the Blue Mountains, NSW on Saturday, 28 September 2019 is designed to offer the perfect introduction to the exhilarating sport of adventure racing.

The Blue Mountains leg of the series is the final event for 2019 and the most adventurous. Often featuring a rock scramble/wade/trek through the imposing Glenbrook Gorge to add to the excitement. With a purpose built single track section for the mountain bike legs and paddling on the Nepean River this is one event that will not disappoint.

Novice course:
5 to 15km of mountain biking
+ 3 to 5km of trail running
+ 1 to 2km of kayaking

Classic course:
15 to 25km of mountain biking
+ 5 to 10km of trail running
+ 2 to 4km of kayaking

Note: There are multiple legs of each discipline, which add up to the distances quoted.
