Max Adventure Race Series: Lake Macquarie
Saturday, 14 February 2026
Cams Wharf, Lake Macquarie, NSW
The Max Adventure Race at Lake Macquarie, NSW on 14 February 2026 is designed to offer the perfect introduction to the exhilarating sport of Adventure Racing.
Designed for teams of 2, the races are fun, fast and furious with teams having to change between 3 core disciplines several times during the event: mountain biking, trail running and kayaking. Teams must stay together at all times.
These non-stop events will take between 2 to 6 hours to complete, depending on the course selected. Each event requires some basic navigation skills. All checkpoints can be reached by following tracks and paths, however occasionally it may be faster to go cross-country.
This event includes a Kids' Course for kids aged 5-12 years in teams of 2-5. This will involve trail running, mountain biking and kayaking legs with simple navigation.
