The annual Walk for Kids with Cancer on 29 March 2026 is a scenic journey from Sydney Harbour to the Northern Beaches.

Choose from a 10km or 24km distance. The 24km is a scenic (but challenging) route to get your heart pumping with stairs, hills and footpaths of varying surfaces. The 10km also enjoys breathtaking harbour views but will still get your heart pumping!.

The walk raises vital funds for the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation.

The walk was started by the late Bob ‘Tug’ Wilson; suffering from terminal cancer, he just wanted to do something for the ’young ones’. His mantra: “I have lived a good life, theirs is just beginning”, rings true for many of the participants.

The 24km walk starts at The Rocks, Circular Quay and finishes at Balgowlah Heights; the 10km is from Middle Head to Balgowlah Heights.
