The inaugual St Albans RFS Pioneer Trail Run on Saturday, 27 July 2019 has three trail runs on varying terrain through one of Australia's earliest pioneering valleys.
There are three courses, all with at least one river crossing, that will take competitors through the valley with awesome views of the surrounding hills and ridges. Adults, children, whole families and their pets will have an opportunity to enjoy the sites and sounds of our Australian bush while experiencing some of the history of this early pioneering area.
Pets are allowed at both the shorter distance events but not the 23.7km run. The 2.7km short course run is an ideal outing for people/families and their pets to just get out and enjoy the countryside. Children will get to experience the bush, conquer a river and finish off with playtime at St Albans Park.
2.7km Wee-Woofa Trail Run
9.98km K9 Trail Run
23.7km Pioneer Trail Run (no pets)
There is a timing point at the 21.1km mark for the serious runners
