The Maidenwell Easter Running Festival from Friday, 30 March to Sunday, 1 April 2018 has established itself as the "must do" event on the Australian Running calendar, with runners from both interstate and overseas now making what is becoming an annual trek to Maidenwell for Easter.
With 14 events over three days ranging from 2.2km to 56km, there is a a distance to suit everyone whatever your fitness or competitive level.
If you run the marathon on either Friday or Sunday as well as the 56km ultra marathon on Saturday, you will receive the "Maidenwell 100km Challenge" Medal. All you need to do is run/walk/crawl out to the 1km mark and back after you complete the 56km to be eligible.
Maidenwell is a small rural town in the South Burnett Region of Queensland, Australia. It is approximately 250km from Queensland's state capital of Brisbane. Maidenwell is also known as the "Gateway to the Bunya Mountains".
