Gallipoli Run: Albany
Sunday, 6 May 2018
Stirling Terrace Precinct, Albany, WA
The 2018 Gallipoli Run in Albany, Western Australia is both a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by our service men and women in World War 1 and a celebration of the end of the war.
Australian men and women created legends that will live on the memory of others for generations around the world.
Seize this opportunity to honour the service and sacrifices of our original ANZACs and generations of service men and women who have followed to defend our values and freedom. Be part of the Gallipoli, starting from Stirling Terrace outside the University, and play a physical and active role in the commemoration of those service men and women.
Competitors will have the choice of either a 5km course along the base of Mount Adelaide or 8km which tackles the steep incline along Memorial Drive before heading back along the 5km course with both finishing at Middleton Beach.
